Three wonderful supporters of Learn to Love to Read took part in Sunday's Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money to support our vital work.

Elise Cronin, Jo Patel and Rich Boothroyd all took part in the run, and have so far raised a total of almost £3500.

Elise recently joined the team as Learn to Love to Read's Administration and Operations Manager. She's passionate about reading and took part in the half-marathon to make 'a real difference in children's lives.' You can support her on her Just Giving page here.

Jo runs pre-school phonics classes, so Learn to Love to Read's mission resonates with her. 'This is something that I am hugely passionate about,' said Jo. 'I truly believe that reading is the greatest gift you can give to a child.' This was Jo's first half-marathon. You can support her on her Just Giving page here

Rich Boothroyd is Associate Minister at St Michael's and St Stephen's church in Wandsworth, the church where Learn to Love to Read began its work back in 2014. 'This is an opportunity to invest in some young people's futures,' said Rich. You can support him on Just Giving here.

Learn to Love to Read Founder Teresa Harris said: 'We're so thankful to all our runners. We're a small charity so the money raised so far will have a huge impact on our work.'

There's still time to donate to our runners:
